About Me. Levi.

Sharing Thoughts. Bursting Bubbles.

A happy heart is a happy life. Every time I travel, I learn a little something about myself so I wanted to conquer the world to conquer myself.

I’m from the Philippines but lives in Thailand with an England postgraduate degree in finance and accounting. My days are filled with taking photos, traveling and writing.

I believe that happiness is a choice and our perspectives about life define who we are. The world is endless and the best stories are happening out there. The world is waiting for us to uncover its secrets. Just travel.

Tell me. What is your story?

  4. Glad you stumble upon my crazy little blog, what I read before was very good, I´ll explore more of your blog since it looks to be quite fascinating good. You said “I laugh, smile and feel happy at small things”…… that´s my motto too. Which does makes life quite much happier and easier to get on with it.

  6. Levi – love your blog – as someone unable to travel at the moment, I enjoyed being transported to lovely places through your photography. Also love the cynical undertones of your messages – the plight of the introspective, lol.

      1. Thank you for visiting my blog. I find yours very inspirational and your philosophy works well. Are you still in the UK or have you based in Thailand ? I don`t use Facebook much and never go on twitter so I will just have to read your blogs.

  8. You sound as if you travel a lot between jobs. My nephew was in Thailand last year, then New Zealand and he is now in Australia. He spent a year in Germany after his masters degree. I had a wander lust many years ago but now I only go between the UK and South Africa.

  10. Hey Levi! Love the blog, the love locks are interesting. Was just in Paris and they’re replacing the bridge siding with glass so people can’t attach them anymore. Where was the photo for your about me section taken?

    1. Thanks for dropping by. The (love locks) photo was taken last November. My photo above was taken in Berwick upon Tweed in Northumberland, England. This is the best and nearest place to visit the Bamburgh castle (for me). 🙂 Have a good day. Cheers to more travels! Saw your page, interesting and lovely photos!

            1. Nope. No follow when liked. There is an option in widgets/menu that doesn’t require for people to key in their email. Normally, for wordpress bloggers, they can automatically click follow (no need for email). For your case, subscribe but has to key in first name and email. Not sure with your theme though.

  13. Thanks for dropping by my site! Im amazed at your travel list! As a fellow Filipina, i am happy and onspired by your blog, to see that our passport (due to visa requirememts) should not be a limitation to travel…just curious, what is your favorite city (except manila or place in PH to avoid bias) or place in the world and why? 🙂

    1. Hi there Diana! Eto long answer hahah

I don’t really have ONE favorite place I think. I’m more of autumn-winter/culture/artsy kind of person so I look for these things haha Switzerland is my top country to live (‘yung people, nature and proximity to others but too costly) then Spain (culture! history! avg price! location). Top countries to be surprised ay Sth America (Peru and Boliva) then Russia. Top city to live ay Shanghai hahaha (i still find this info strange on why I really like Shanghai). I lived in Thailand for 8 years for work, London for few months (UK in general for 2 years), 2 weeks in Dundee (Scotland) with my relatives, 2 weeks in Paris with my aunt, 2 weeks in HK for work, 2 weeks in whole Japan, a week each of Madrid and Barcelona…all others are less than a week but it was only Shanghai that provided a mix of European and Asian lifestyles with complete 4 seasons! Sa ibang countries, namimiss ko yung “Asian” and nakakadepress but at the same time, I want that European feel. Or maybe so far, okay talaga ‘yung experiences namin sa China. People would find this weird because when it comes to PH national interest, I am very against this country. But my travel experiences (3X) in China were all wonderful. (Tokyo, no, too Asian same with other Asian countries. There’s nothing wrong with that. It’s just a preference to have the best of east and west). Hope I answered. Keep travelling!

      1. Oooh, it is refreshing to hear that you really liked Shanghai. I sort of anticipated a country in Europe but Shanghai was a wildcard. I hope I can travel to Shanghai too within the next 2 years. I usually travel with my family and we usually end up in Japan because we love the food, the people and the place (temples, nature, onsen, and malls there).

        1. I think I underestimated Shanghai before my trip. I just thought, oh okay, just another mega city. Turned out so many things to uncover -arts, culture, history with a vibrant / safe night walks ! I love Japan too but it’s what you’d expect – a country of contrasts. Hokkaido and Kyoto are my favorites.
